Jacket

 

 Stitch the center back seam.

Stay-stich the back neckline, clip the curves.

 Stitch the shoulder and neckline seams.

 Ease-stitch the top of the sleeves and ease the sleeves to fit the armholes.

Stitch the sleeves to the armholes.

Front lining

 Stay-stitch the back neckline.

Stitch the shoulder and neckline seams.

Ease-stitch the sleeves.

Stitch the sleeves to the armholes and stitch the sleeve lining to the sleeves at the bottom.  Under-stitch the lining.

 Stitch the lining to the jacket at the center front.

 Under arm and side seams

 Stitch the lining to the jacket at the hem.

 Turn the jacket right-side out and press.  Hand stitch the opening closed.

 Tack the necklines together.

 Press up the long edges of the cuffs.

 Fold the cuffs in half and stitch the ends.

 Press the cuffs flat.

Hand stitch the openings closed.


hand stitch the cuffs to the sleeves.


Sheath

 Bodice front darts

Shoulder seams

 Skirt lining darts

 Bodice front lining darts



Stitch the bodice pieces to the skirt pieces.

 Lining shoulder seams

 Skirt darts

 Stitch the bodice to the skirt.

 Stitch the lining to the dress at the neckline, under-stitch the neckline.

 Armholes

 Side seams

Cut 1/2"-1" off the bottom of the skirt lining.  Stitch the lining to the bottom of the skirt.   Under-stitch the lining.

Center back seam

Hand stitch the back opening and sew on the snaps.

Bows

 Press up the ends of the bows

 Fold bows in half and stitch the ends.

Turn the bows right side out and press flat.

Hand gather the center of the bows. 

Wrap the bows knot around the gathered part of the bow and stitch.

Tack the bows to the hat and front of the sheath.
